MDTango Project – About us

Founded in 2009, MDTango Project is a local initiative that aims at presenting and teaching a world class Tango dance in Jordan. MDTango project reflects both the techniques and spirit of Tango in Argentina; Tango’s country of origin.

Located in Jabal Al Weibdeh; one of the most artistic and cultural areas in Amman. MDTango project focuses on teaching Tango, educating participants on the importance of art and dance etiquette, and holding regular special workshops, weekly milongas, and an annual touristic tango festival that attracts professionals and non-professionals from all around the world.

The school’s authentic and unpretentious atmosphere sets aside all social strains. It serves as an escape from one’s usual routine to a non-verbal positive experience.

MDTANGO Project targets different age groups with a focus on adults; given the mature and classic nature of the dance.
